* Elastollan® is the brand name for thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) from BASF. It is designed for industrial applications that require a combination of elasticity, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. The material is available in multiple formulations to address different technical requirements. TPU Elastollan® stands for maximum reliability, consistent product quality and cost efficiency. Elastollan® can be extruded into hoses, cable sheathing, belts, films and profiles, and can also be processed using blow molding and injection molding technologies. TPU Elastollan® is characterized by the following properties: * High wear and abrasion resistance * High elasticity and good elastic recovery * Usability across a wide temperature range * Good hydrolysis resistance (especially polyether-based grades) * Outstanding resistance to tear propagation * Excellent damping characteristics * High resistance to oils, greases, oxygen and ozone
